Happy Halloween!!!

It's almost time to party with the creatures of the night but we're not slowing down here. Jenna Green is putting the finishing touches on our miniature creatures for our second unit work, I've been working on a few pickup shots with actor Matt Blackwell, and our green screen space is just about ready to go four our final round of second unit photography.

Fun Video For Halloween

Ah, we love special effects. That perfect blend of practical monsters, camera tricks, clever editing and compositing. That's why I was thrilled when a couple of days ago Rocket Jump Film School released this totally rad (Yes, I said rad. We're trying to bring that back, here.) video highlighting some of the practical effects that made us fall in love with movies. Being as I also am a writer, I put together an articles that expands on some of the effects they talk about. You can read it by clicking HERE. Keep an eye out for friends of The Quantum Terror, Alec Gillis (talking Facehuggers) and Tom Woodruff, Jr. (among the Terminator puppet crew) They have a pretty cool You Tube Channel, too.

If you enjoyed that, I'd also like to point you to an earlier article from a few years back. Click HERE to read that one.

Gore Noir Magazine

I'm told there's still time to order your coffin shaped H.P. Lovecraft edition of Gore Noir Magazine, featuring exclusive photos from The Quantum Terror, but they will sell out soon. CLICK HERE to get your copy, if you haven't already. They should be showing up in the mail any day now, for those who are expecting them.

Photos

You've all been so wonderful, nothing but support and not a single complaint that the movie is taking to long. I'm very grateful for that and I promise it's all going to be worth the wait. However, you know me. I've got to give you something. Here are a few more photos from our post production that will give you just enough to make you wonder what you're in for.

As always, thank you!

Gore Noir Coffin Shaped Lovecraft Exclusive

It's been a bit too long since our last update but we're back with some big news. The Quantum Terror will be featured for the first time in Gore Noir's black and white H.P. Lovecraft special. The fact that it's coffin shaped is enough to make it a gem in their already collectable series of magazines, but we believe the fact that will feature never before seen exclusive photographs of our practical effects Lovecraftian nightmares will make it even more so. It's going to sell out quick so pre-order your copy by going to this link: http://gorenoirmagazine.bigcartel.com/product/lovecraft-cthulhu-coffin-shaped-b-w-magazine-issue right now.

We've been hard at work over the last month creating the last of our monsters for second unit filming. We don't want to give away too much, but here are a few photos to spark your curiosity.

Jenna Green painting... something.
When Shoggoth wants your beer.
Hang in there.

I also took a little time to do a video update about how we're using stop motion as part of our movie.

There's more news coming. I wish I could just say it all right now but we've got to make sure that everything's nailed down before we go blabbing. All I can say is that we're really excited about how well this movie is coming together, as well as all the possibilities for distribution that have come our way. It could be that this movie becomes bigger than I could have ever imagined. More on that, soon.

As always, thank you!

That's A Wrap!

After over a year of on and off production, what a strange feeling it was to say those words. "That's a wrap." Kristin Cochell cheered and clapped. Everyone in our cast and crew and been so dedicated and passionate about being a part of The Quantum Terror. It truly has been a magical experience making this film. Here are a few photos from the final days.

As you can see from the last photo, we're wasting no time in tearing down the set. It's a painful thing to do, but space has to be made for our second unit work. For the next couple of months we'll be working with miniatures, puppets, and other insert effects to fill in the scenes what couldn't be done onset with our actors. We'll be doing this in tandem with our first stages of editing, to make sure that we're getting all the coverage we need. There's still a lot of work ahead, but I'm happy to say that it's coming along nicely.

In the near future, you will be seeing some serious revisions to our Indiegogo, including new videos, artwork, and information. We're going to really start pushing for press coverage and to widen our audience, so please keep spreading the word. Encourage your friends to follow our social media pages, and please be sure to like us on IMDB as well as Facebook.

This is a really exciting time in our evolution and I want to say thank you to each and every one of you who has helped us on our way. The list is long, but each name on it has played an important part.

As always, thank you!

Director Christopher Moonlight On Zombie Life TV

As usual, we've been super busy in our bid for the finish line, on this film. This past Saturday we shot with actors Paula Solinger and wrapped Jordan Micheal Brinkman. I'll be publishing some photographs from that day soon. I'm excited to say that August 20th will represent our final day of filming for The Quantum Terror. From there, we will go onto 2nd unit photography (miniatures, puppets, inserts) VFX, editing, and sound. More on that, later.

For now, I'd like you to enjoy this episode of Zombie Life TV, where I was invited on to take about The Quantum Terror and show off some of our practical effects.

And if you're somewhere, where it's easier to listen, you can also get it on Sound Cloud.

More updates coming soon. Right now, we've got to deal with some tentacles.

Matt Blackwell gets caught in some tentacles.

As always, thank you!

First Teaser Trailer Is HERE!!!

I can't tell you what an amazing journey it's been, leading up to this point and now we have our first teaser trailer for The Quantum Terror! Watch it right now, and share it with your friends, because you've been on this journey with us, too.

Like all first trailers, it gives you a vague idea of what's coming, but isn't as polished as the finish film will be. There's still a lot of work for us ahead, but we're feeling good about the direction it's going in. At this point, like I said before you watched it, what we really need is for you, our friends, fans, and supporters, to share it everywhere you can. We'll be restructuring out Indiegogo very soon, so that we can raise some finishing funds, but our efforts are meaningless if we don't have an audience.

This week I was also a guest on Zombie Life TV on Channel Austin, which broadcasted live, nation wide. I'll post a link to the show when it becomes available on their You Tube channel. We also have these great animated gifs for you to post around, which you can right click, hit "view image" and then copy and paste the link to on your own social media pages. To post on Twitter, right click and hit Save Image As to download it, and then repost from whatever folder you save it to.

Also, for our viewing pleasure, here are a few photos of moments from the set, that you may enjoy.

Director Christopher Moonlight watches from the monitor.
Just a note: The last three photos were taken by Paul Dubiel, who is directing a documentary about the making of The Quantum Terror. More on that, later.
I'm sure there's much more I could tell you, as of now. We've all been working on this project, non stop. However, I must be getting back to work. More updates coming very soon, and they will once again become more frequent. Thank you to all of our supporters for hanging in there. If you're following us on our Facebook Page, you know that we've also been doing live broadcasts from the set, which I hope you're enjoying.
